Description

The Zug Castle Museum hosts a great collection of approximately 50,000 historical artefacts linked the history of Canton Zug from the Middle Ages until today.

Here children can dress up and play, meet people from the past and present and learn all about the history of Zug with Lili the cartoon.

The little yellow castle bag will help them explore the castle and the workshop at the attic will allow them to experience the tour in a creative way.  

Children's birthday parties can also be hosted at the castle museum.

There are also guided family tours on special dates:

On demand, the museum is also open outside the opening times for school classes and groups.

 

Public Holidays:

The museum stays open from 10 am to 5 pm on all national and cantonal (Zug) public holidays as well as on New Year's Eve (31.12.19).

It stays closed on Good Friday (19.4.19), Christmas Eve (24.12.19), Christmas (25.12.19) and New Year's Day (1.1.20).
